Dr. Parks holds a PhD in curriculum and instruction with a specialization in science education from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to joining the Stetson University faculty, she was a National Board certified elementary school teacher practicing in both in Florida and Massachusetts. Dr. Parks' research interests include: STEM in the elementary classroom, elementary pedagogies, social and emotional learning, and beginning teachersí attitudes and efficacy.
